The current geo-political development mainly coming from the “Trump administration” is the worst case scenario, it is a full disaster! The amount of destruction coming from the “Trump administration” is by far the worst, worse then everything else so far happening to humanity, including the 2nd World War.
There are many most doubtable developments (sometimes even in the “name of god”) against humanity coming from the “Trump administration”. But the by far worst is the clear suppression and denial of “global warming, climate change, and the loss of biodiversity“.
If anyone thinks, Mr. Trump or the “Trump administration” is to any extend a “Peace administration”, she/he could not be more blurred by populistic actions.
Minus 40% of global annual “greenhouse gas” emissions within the upcoming 5 years would mean successful (geo)politics
There is currently a clear task for global politics and this is the by far most important “key performance indicator” (KPI) for humanity – reduction of the global annual “greenhouse gas” (GHG) emissions by minus 40% till 2030, so within 5 years (cf. e.g. graph from Ed Hawkins: Global Climate Stripes 1850-2024, showyourstripes.info; see also the following graph).

There are not just “some risks” not managing this KPI successfully. There is the worst possible case within “strategic management” – the risk is unknown and the situation is out of (human) control.
No CEO would let that happen to her/his corporation! She/He would immediately start mitigating the risk by (1) fully understanding and researching the risk, (2) exactly quantifying the risk, and (3) deciding on according actions to reduce the risk to an efficient level.
“Deals” are pretty much the exact opposite of “good politics”. Even for a good CEO, “deals” are a bad concept in terms of long term prosperity for a corporation (in terms of the financial possibilities, Mr. Trump is not even significantly successful as business men, e.g. Mr. Musk is by far more successful when it comes to wealth and income).
Mr. Musk ought to spend his money for climate actions
The currently “richest men”, Mr. Musk, became rich with the help of all the “global warming, climate change, and loss of biodiversity” scientist, journalist, activist and politicians. Everyone working towards a broader understanding and awareness of global warming. Most of them working for low incomes, within precarious employments, experience suppressions, or even risk their life’s. If anything, Mr. Musk ought to spend his money to exactly these “global warming, climate change, and loss of biodiversity” scientist, journalist, activist and politicians. Without them, no “Tesla” ever would have been sold!
It is their work, what established the “market” for zero emission cars. Yes, Mr. Musk delivered with “Tesla” a solution feasible on a daily bases, combining a high-performance charging infrastructure with a car with decent range. Today we know, he did not do it to mitigate global warming, he did it to earn a fortune.
It could not be more absurd
I myself got a “Tesla” in the very early stage, one of the first customers in Austria, already 11 years ago in 2014. I could not be more disappointed about the latest development! It could not be more absurd. A men, who got rich with a product mitigating global warming, an electric car, is collaborating with a USA administration suppressing, denying, and actively working against mitigation global warming (e.g. closing down the most important “NOAA – National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration“).
Facing the potentially greatest (nature) catastrophe in human history, increasing the budget for weapons against each other (NATO, Russia, etc.), billions for “deterrence and defence” could not be more absurd as well. The currently greatest “Return on Investment” (ROI) for “security, defence and peace” is investment into mitigating global warming, reducing global GHG emissions and developing global democracy.
Reducing global GHG emissions should be by far the most urgent & important topic for geopolitics
Without the significant reduction of global GHG emissions (minus 40% within the upcoming 5 years, till 2030), global warming is likely to become exponential in our view, since tipping points are reached and (technologically unstoppable) self-reinforcing cycles are activated.
Every CEO confronted with such a scenario for her/his corporation would push forward immediate and decisive actions to manage the (long-term) prosperity and profitability of her/his corporation.
Global climate actions are clearly insufficient and are killing people
Stop the war in Ukraine, stop the war in Gaza, stop the war in Sudan, stop the destructive discussion around “tariffs” and concentrate on the actual (security) threat to humanity and start radically transfer our economies and societies away from fossil fuels and meat production.
The “Trump administration” fails on the by far currently most important KPI for humanity
While Europe, China and India are making progress with their transformation towards renewable and emission free energy supply and towards a healthy nutrition with less meat, the “Trump administration” is working against it. There could be no greater scandal within (geo)politics and I ask (global) media to give this the needed attention and awareness! Global warming is not a “soft topic”, it is the most “hard”, severe, and best researched threat to billions of livelihoods and lives at the moment, now.
The threat coming from global warming due to GHG emissions is so “unimaginable” dangerous, because the development is slow, delayed (we see a 30years delay between GHG emissions and actual temperature rise) and technologically unstoppable.
In front of the G7 summit, we ask global media to focus on mitigating global warming
We are facing the by far worst humanitarian catastrophe, we did a first scenario on the potential development. We did it, to be wrong. Please prove us wrong. Please prove, that humanity is able to foresee, act consciously, and responsibly. Please prove, that we humans are able to act early enough and are thus able the prevent us from this scenario billions of people loosing their livelihoods, billions of refugees, wars and hostility for resources, droughts and hunger, people starving and dying of thirst, etc.
