Current wildfires, et al. are just the beginning

There is a delay of about 30 years between “greenhouse gas” (GHG) emissions and actual global warming¹ (see following graph 1), GHG emissions are still raising, and global warming is already accelerating (see following graph 2) – the “1.5°C limit” has always been merely a very rough estimate for the “corridor of life” or a “stable climate system” on planet Earth².

The self-reinforcing cycles are taking over: more wildfires, more GHG emissions, less soil and forests capturing GHG emissions, more temperature increase, and more wildfires (cf. the following graph).

After breaching the “1.5°C limit” for a “stable climate system” on our planet Earth – in about 3 years, sometime in 2029 – please expect exponential global warming³ and please acknowledge global warming, climate disruption, and the loss of biodiversity as already being out of human control⁴.
