The successful mitigation of global warming, climate change, and the loss of biodiversity is theoretically “simple” – we need for that a working global GHG market on “science based targets”.
But the actual realisation of such a global GHG market is currently not possible, because the needed global institutional structures are ether not there, not working properly, and/or not democratically legitimised and the (global) political leadership & decision making is not strong enough and/or has a different focus and/or different priorities.
